Terms of Service

Welcome to Mahj Parlour. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mahj Parlour mobile application (the "App") operated by Tour in a Box LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of the App, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update your information as needed. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscriptions

Mahj Parlour offers auto-renewing subscriptions that provide access to the App's gameplay and related features. Subscription details, including pricing and billing period, are presented within the App at the time of purchase.

  • Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and are managed entirely through Apple's App Store.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • You may manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings at any time.
  • You may also use the App's restore purchases flow to recover subscription access on an eligible account.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.
  • Deleting your Mahj Parlour account does not cancel your App Store subscription. Subscription cancellation must be handled through your Apple ID Account Settings.
  • If your subscription expires or is canceled, access to subscription-gated features may be restricted.

4. Digital Content and Rewards

The App may offer cosmetic tile sets and other digital content. Some content may be included with your subscription, earned through referrals or promotions, or otherwise unlocked within the App.

  • Unless explicitly presented as a paid App Store purchase, digital cosmetic unlocks have no cash value and are not redeemable or transferable.
  • If optional paid digital content is offered in the future, it will be presented in the App and processed through Apple's App Store.
  • Availability, eligibility requirements, and visual designs for digital content may change over time.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
  • Use offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate language or display names
  • Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized modifications or automation tools
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other accounts, or our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to the App
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Collect or harvest personal information of other users without their consent
  • Use the App to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content

6. Social Features and User Content

Mahj Parlour includes profile and social features such as display names, usernames, avatars, friend search, friend requests, referrals, invites, and multiplayer interactions. Information tied to those features may be visible to other players as needed for the App to function.

You retain ownership of content you create or submit through the App, such as your display name, username, and profile information. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the App as necessary to provide and operate our services.

We may review, refuse, remove, restrict, or moderate profile content or social access that violates these Terms, applicable law, or the safety of other users. The App may provide report and block tools, but we do not guarantee that any specific user action will result in immediate removal or enforcement.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its entire contents, features, and functionality — including but not limited to all software, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, tile designs, and the overall design and arrangement — are owned by Tour in a Box LLC or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, or otherwise exploit any part of the App without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Tour in a Box LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE APP; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY WITHIN THE APP; OR (C) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR CONTENT OR INFORMATION. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tour in a Box LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the App, remove profile content, or limit your use of social features at any time if we believe it is reasonably necessary to protect the App, enforce these Terms, investigate abuse, or protect other users.

You may delete your account through the App's Settings. Account deletion is handled separately from subscription billing and does not cancel your Apple subscription. Upon termination or deletion, your right to use the App will immediately cease, except to the extent continued access is required by law. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tour in a Box LLC regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements.
